Peter Mihalopoulos Signs On For 2024
The Western Strikers Soccer Club are proud to announce Peter Mihalopoulos as their Senior Head Coach for 2024 off the back of a successful caretaking role for 2023.
Peter took on the caretaking role midway through the 2023 season and resulted in leading the first team back to State League One after some midyear struggles.
“I’m really looking forward to the upcoming year. Firstly, I’m excited to continue working with my current coaching staff and support team.
“I’m also very excited to be working with a great team and continuing their development and growth both on and off the pitch.”
Looking back on 2023, it’s been a lot of fun and hard work with its fair share of highs and lows. But I am looking forward to starting pre-season and getting back into the swing of things.”
Bringing wealth of experience and knowledge in both senior and junior setups, Peter will be sure to be a good addition to the senior setup.
“I’ve been coaching on and off for the past 15 years, starting my coaching journey at the youth level, teaching them the fundamentals of the game.”
“Coaching at senior levels at various clubs over the years, I have been able to mentor and help further develop more experienced players as well as new ones entering the senior field.”
